Biography
Mohamed received his PhD in physical oceanography from Alexandria University (Egypt) (2019), followed by a postdoc at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) in Norway (2020-2022). He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Liège (Belgium). His research focuses on changes in sea level, sea surface temperature, and sea ice concentration, as well as trends related to climate change, using in-situ observations and remote sensing data. He is also interested in air-sea-ice interactions and marine heat waves in regional seas such as the Barents Sea, the North Sea, the Black Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Red Sea.
